The radiation from the bactericidal lamp kills (inactivates) viruses, bacteria, mold, fungi, yeast, spores, allergens, and other microorganisms, including influenza viruses of all types (types A, B, C), viruses causing acute respiratory infections (ARI) and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), the SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) coronavirus causing COVID-19, and the Omicron coronavirus strain. The absorbed dose of ultraviolet radiation by DNA and RNA molecules leads to the death of the microbe.
Designed for use in bactericidal irradiators, air recirculators, quartz tubes, disinfection cabinets, ventilation systems, water purification systems, and the like.
