A scientist and inventor, a distinguished scientist of Ukraine, professor, academician, Ph.D., and specialist in physics and electronics, particularly in electromagnetic radiation (ultraviolet, microwaves, radio waves).
Ph.D. in Technical Sciences (1978), laureate of the State Prizes in Science and Technology of the Ukrainian SSR (1983), the USSR (1989), and Ukraine (1995); Honored Inventor of the USSR (1988); Merited Worker of Industry of Ukraine (1996); Honorary Telecommunications Specialist of Ukraine (2006); Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences of National Progress (1992); Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (2004).
Higher education – Engineer in Electronic Technology, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (1968).
1963-1964 – Worked at the state defense industry plant "Arsenal" in Ukraine.
1968-1992 – Head of the research laboratory at the Research Institute "Cryoelectronics" (since 1994, Scientific and Production Enterprise "Saturn").
1996-1997 – Director of the research and production subsidiary "Sonar" of NPP "Saturn."
Since 1997 – Founder and General Director of the Institute of Electronics and Communication of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences of National Progress.
Since 1999 – Professor at the Department of Telecommunication Systems of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute."
Since 2005 – Co-founder of the television and radio company "Ukrainian Multimedia Technologies."
Author of over 400 scientific publications, 16 monographs, 8 textbooks, and 99 patents for inventions and utility models. Since 2015, author and editor of publications on the website bactosfera.ua.
